Cable Control HEAT SHRINKABLE TAPE

Description

Our new innovation, Cable Control Heat Shrinkable Tape, makes it easy to wrap:

-Large diameter wires or wire bundles

-Odd-shaped components/ devices

-Sharp angle routing of wires/ wire bundles

-Easy retrofit repair/ wrap of pre-installed wires

-Any electrical wire that is not easy to insulate using conventional tubular heat shrink.

-Spherical or cube shaped components/ devices, just wrap x, then y axis.

How to use:

Tape is not stretchable and adhesive will not activate unless heat is applied. Wrap tape around object with an overlap of roughly half the tape width, and apply heat with a heat gun as you go. To terminate, wearing heat-resistant gloves or oven mitts are highly advisable as you will have to hold the end of the tape in place until the material cools down (maybe 15 to 30 seconds). Once cool, the heat shrinkable tape will retain its form.

It is normal for excess adhesive to ooze out from the seams, as this will help to create a seal. To clean up excess adhesive, simply spray/ wipe with isopropyl alcohol.
